Founded in 1964, VDE (Voix dans l’Eglise)-GALLO is a Swiss company specializing in the recording, production and distribution of records, cassettes, CDs, and now also dematerialized distribution. To date, the company has produced some 1,700 recordings in a wide variety of fields, including classical music (with hundreds of previously unreleased works) and world music (in collaboration with the MEG – Musée d’ethnographie de Genève).
This is the oldest label still in existence in French-speaking Switzerland.
She has been awarded the Grand Prix International Charles Cros on several occasions, as well as numerous other distinctions.
The “Lausanne-Musique” music publishing house is part of VDE-GALLO, and manages published works in the form of scores and, above all, recordings.
VDE-GALLO started out as a general partnership, then sole proprietorship, and became a limited liability company in 2021, to better ensure the continuity of its business. In 2017, it also took over the brand and part of the catalog of the prestigious Cascavelle label.
VDE-GALLO is a member of SUISA, IFPI, SWISSPERFORM, ASMP and SVMV in Switzerland, and SCPP in France.
