It was in nineteen twenty-two that the brass band L’Avenir de Lignières was founded, going through some difficulties over its half-century of existence to survive today with around thirty active members.

Its initial successes date back only a few years; indeed, a new energy has given its musicians the courage to persevere, and rapid progress has allowed it to earn places of honor in both cantonal and regional competitions. Furthermore, several recordings broadcast on Radio Romande contributed to the making of this record, which we highly recommend.
