Like a guiding thread, this program creates a dialogue between rare and precious Baroque works \u2014seldom heard on the piano\u2014and iconic 20th-century pieces by Granados, Alb\u00e9niz, De Falla and Mompou, culminating in contemporary creation with a previously unreleased work by Ruiz-Pip\u00f3 dedicated to Ester Pineda.<\/p>\n<p>A specialist in Spanish music, the performer offers a fresh perspective on the richness and diversity of Spain\u2019s keyboard tradition, unveiling a refined and expressive musical language. Their playing, combining sensitivity and brilliance, brings out the rhythmic charm and colourful flamboyance that define this unique tradition. Through it, the entire soul of the Iberian keyboard is reimagined, between memory and modernity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery choice is, by nature, arbitrary, and this one is no exception. It inevitably leaves in the shadows composers and works that would equally deserve to be included in this recording.
