The Val-de-Ruz project<\/h4>\n

The idea of this project came from Jean-Philippe Schenk, the president of the concert society which organizes organ recitals in the Val-de-Ruz, a valley near Neuch\u00e2tel, Switzerland, on the organs of the churches of Dombresson and Saint-Martin.<\/p>\n

These two organs, which are extremely different one from another, have been built by the Manufacture d\u2019orgues de Saint-Martin, founded by the famous organ builder Joseph Neidhart and operated since almost 50 years by Alain Aeschlimann and Jacques-Andr\u00e9 Jeanneret.<\/p>\n

Our CD\u2019s want to be a tribute of the entire region to these two artists, and the performer has joined the project with enthusiasm and admiration.<\/p>\n

The Manufacture de Saint-Martin has built instruments which made our country well-known in the entire world through their musical beauty, the unequalled elegance of their action and the quality of their construction. With friendship, competence and modesty, they have participated in numerous cultural projects whose financing was not always certain, showing with their example that the artistic importance of a project is much more essential than the well-being of those who work at it.<\/p>\n

With great thankfulness, I have taken part in this tribute, and congratulate all those who, in a way or another, have cooperated with the project.<\/p>\n
