\u201cExotic\u201d sounds are asserted through the picturesque local color craving for romanticism.
\nThis album is a trip to a distant land.
\nSpain with Manuel de Falla and his Ritual Dance of Fire due to the intertwining of its musical past with Asian or Arabic music.
\nExoticism, borrowed by western music with exotic turns, scales, instruments, dances and folklore.<\/p>\n

In this choice of repertoire that I have chosen from, Debussy, Ravel, Faur\u00e9, Saint-Sa\u00ebns, Severac, De Falla, Mozart are composers who take us on a journey through their local color of their new piano timbres with in particular this prelude, the Debussy\u2019s Sounds and Perfumes, chords that dress voluptuous harmonies at the rhythm of impressionism.<\/p>\n

The Hispanic scent.
\nExotism expresses for me an evening harmony, conducive to the evocation of a distant past.
\nExoticism, images which seem to appeal to hearing, sight, touch, smell, establishing in music these tenuous correspondences that Baudelaire, the first, guessed in poetry.
\nSensations of exotic colors.<\/p>\n

Odors of carnation and aguardiente, an atmosphere of castanets with the Interrupted Serenade by Claude Debussy.<\/p>\n

These oriental pieces by Ravel, Laideronette, empress of the pagodas for 4-handed piano evoke these distant countries, this change of scenery through recourse to the musical heritage of each composer.<\/p>\n

Falla is keen to make her honey from the flowers of folklore.
\nFalla is Andalusia and its flamenco, voluptuous Andalusian gardens, harsh Nights.<\/p>\n

S\u00e9verac has a fleshy sound, color in brighter spots, in thicker paste, this taste of modal scales.
\nHe tells us about the landscapes crossed, inspiration of his dear Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe would be content to listen to this Album through the wind and the sea and we would stroll deliciously in the streets sipping a pomegranate juice to dream of something magnificent, this exoticism and these picturesque sounds are to be savored without moderation .<\/p>\n
