Romantisme, bien que les compositeurs aient tous \u00e9crit leurs \u0153uvres dans la seconde moiti\u00e9 du 20\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. Tonin Harapi (*1926) a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 Moscou et a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 professeur de composition au Conservatoire National d\u2019Albanie, \u00e0 Tirana. Albert Paparisto (*1925), le fondateur et le premier directeur du Conservatoire National, \u00e9tait un musicologue renomm\u00e9. Il a \u00e9galement \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 Moscou et a \u00e9t\u00e9 une figure de proue de la vie musicale albanaise jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa mort en 2014. Aleksander Pe\u00e7i, n\u00e9 en 1951, est le plus jeune compositeur du compendium. Il a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 Tirana, est devenu compositeur ind\u00e9pendant en 1986 et enseigne encore \u00e0 l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie des Arts de Tirana. Un autre compositeur, Kozma Lara (*1930) qui s\u2019est form\u00e9 \u00e0 Tirana et Moscou, se distingue par le grand nombre d\u2019\u0153uvres produites. \u00c7esk Zadeja (*1927), qui a lui aussi \u00e9tudi\u00e9 \u00e0 Moscou, est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme le \u201cp\u00e8re de la musique albanaise\u201d. Quant \u00e0 Feim Ibrahimi (*1935), il est le premier compositeur important \u00e0 avoir \u00e9tudi\u00e9 exclusivement en Albanie. Devenu directeur du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre d\u2019Op\u00e9ra et de Ballet de Tirana, il a enseign\u00e9 la th\u00e9orie musicale au Conservatoire National.
