Compositeur et percussionniste n\u00e9 en 1971 \u00e0 Vancouver (Canada), J\u00e9r\u00f4me Berney a grandi \u00e0 Lausanne (Suisse). Le piano \u00e0 7 ans, la batterie \u00e0 10, une m\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne, la passion du jazz d\u00e8s l\u2019adolescence, et la lecture aussi\u2026<\/p>\n

Aujourd\u2019hui, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Berney cr\u00e9e des assemblages, des m\u00e9tissages, entre jazz, classique, musiques du monde et po\u00e9sie, provoquant des rencontres in\u00e9dites entre ch\u0153urs classiques et instrumentistes de tous horizons, \u00e0 l\u2019instar de son oratorio africain \u00ab Reine Pokou \u00bb (2017), de son oratorio de P\u00e2ques orientalisant \u00ab Equinoxe \u00bb (2022), ou des tableaux \u00e9crits pour la F\u00eate des Vignerons 2019 \u2013 une tradition class\u00e9e au patrimoine culturel immat\u00e9riel de l\u2019Unesco \u2013, dont il a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019un des trois compositeurs.<\/p>\n
