Bruno Grossi, Flute

“Premier Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris” at the “Jean-Pierre Rampal International Flute Competition” and first prize at the International “Interart” Flute Competition of Budapest, are some of the many national and international prizes awarded to Bruno Grossi.

Bruno Grossi was born in Bellinzona (Switzerland) in 1965 and began to study flute with André Jaunet, Zurich (1982-1984) and, after obtaining his High School Certificate, he went on to complete his musical training with Maxence Larrieu at the Geneva Conservatory (1984-1986, awarded first prize as virtuoso), with Peter-Lukas Graf and Aurèle Nicolet (Basel, 1986-1989 Teaching and Concert Flautist Diploma).

He has performed at major European musical events: Youth Soloists Festival Antibes, Beracasa Foundation Montpellier, Les Grands Prix Internationaux (Théatre du Chatelet, Paris), The Friends of Mozart, Paris, MIDEM in Cannes, The Interart Festival, Budapest, “Flautissimo” Riva del Garda, Musicora-Radio-France Festival, International Festival “Sous les Tropiques'”, Ile Maurice…

As soloist, he has played in concerts with prestigious orchestras:

Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Radio Symphony Orchestra of Basel, Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, the Instrumental Ensemble of Paris, Chamber Orchestra of Neuchatel, Radio Symphony Orchestra Bratislava, the Regional Orchestra of Cannes and Province, San Remo Symphony Orchestra…

At present, he is co-principal flautist at l’Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.

Bruno Robilliard, Piano

Bruno Robilliard, who was born in Antibes in 1963, came from a family of musicians and successfully started his studies at the Lyons National Conservatory.

At the age of 14, he was accepted by the Higher National Conservatory of Music in Paris where he joined the class of Germaine Mounier (piano) and Genevieve Joy-Dutilleux (chamber music).

After having taught chamber music at the Lyons National Conservatory and accompanied the flute classes given by Maxence Larrieu at Geneva Conservatory, he obtained his piano teacher’s certificate in 1994.

He is an eclectic musician who has played with the Tokyo National Orchestra, the Lyons Opera Orchestra, and with the GRAME Studios (contemporary and electro-acoustic music).

Bruno Robilliard participates in many festivals and has a brilliant career as a soloist and accompanist in France and abroad.
