GENESIS OF THE ALBUM
At the beginning, there was a vagabond crossing the streets of Tours at nightfall on a stormy evening and who exclaims upon seeing the Duo Fortecello: «the Devil and his Diableess!». The two musicians, whose humour and derision are part of their respective characters, take this sentence at its word and question the true identity of the composers and their works. Flame of the underworld or divine inspiration? A vulnerable artist or a demonic despot? Chopin, the nostalgic or Piazzolla, who sold his soul to the devil? Will all these questions be answered? One thing is certain, the music will be beautiful and sometimes fiery and virtuoso, sometimes soft and tender.
