Norah Zapata Parrilla was born on 1 January 1946 in Cochabamba, Bolivia. She is a teacher of Spanish language and literature. A corresponding member of the Bolivian Academy of Language, she was twice awarded the “Franz Tamayo” Grand Prize in La Paz, Bolivia, in 1973 and 1977. She also received the Special Human Rights Prize commemorating the 70th anniversary of Anne Frank’s death, awarded by the Accademia Italia Arte nel Mundo in Lecce, Italy, in 2015. The author of several poetry collections published since 1975, she is a founding member of the Fondation Donatella Mauri, a psychogeriatric nursing home in Romanel-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland. In 2018, she founded “El Cactus Casa de la poésie” in Ostuni, Italy. This cultural association aims to create spaces for encounters with others by sharing values drawn from different cultures and generations. Every year, it organises an international poetry festival that also embraces other art forms, including painting, photography, music and dance.

Roberto Sawicki began his musical career in his native Argentina. The winner of several awards, he was engaged in Germany and later in Geneva as first violin with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. In October 1975, he founded the Orchestre de Lancy-Genève, serving as its artistic and musical director while continuing his career as a violin soloist and conductor. Alongside the great classics, Roberto Sawicki has introduced his audiences to lesser-known works and compositions by Argentine composers, created four musical tales and released more than ten CDs on the Swiss labels Doron, Gallo and Cascavelle. His recording devoted to the works of Ernest Bloch received a five-Diapason rating.

Elisabeth Dönni Kocher, after studying piano, undertook further training in music education at the Geneva Conservatory of Music and pursued a career as a teacher and accompanist. She performs regularly with Roberto Sawicki, both in the classical repertoire and in music from Argentina, and has recorded previously unpublished works by Bernardo Stalman with him, released on the Cascavelle label.

Irma Weissenberg-Perenyi has been led by a strong interest in the arts, communication and people to explore a variety of fields, from translation to the health professions and from teaching to cultural management.

Two previous collaborations with the poet resulted in the albums “Mare Nostrum” (ref. Gallo CD-1704) and “Eclipses” (ref. Gallo CD-1747-1748).
