THE RAINBOW FOR NONO
All the colors are there, in this record. Nono sensed them. They are truer than nature. Colors of joyful melancholy, of spring that looks like autumn.
Nono Muller carries his bellows box through concerts, border crossings, town and chalet dances.
He was more than just the poetic and friendly landscape of Michel Bühler. They remained friends, despite parting ways.
Today, Nono accompanies other singers. He offers them his talent as a blind painter. He also dialogues with his accordion.
I like him best when he’s alone, telling stories of love and tenderness with his two hands wandering over the ivory.
He sits with his beer. He recognizes beautiful women by their voice and the softness of their skin. He plays, this young old rogue. The children of the town follow him like in the story of the Pied Piper.
Go on, Nono, and tell us what you’ve seen — through music! What you have in your heart.
